In Louisiana, there’s no industry like the oil and gas industry. Tuesday, at the Rotary Club of Crowley’s weekly meeting, Louis Buatt looked to provide perspective on the industry and, in particular, the volatile issue of hydraulic fracturing.
Project Front Yard is coming to Acadia Parish. The community beautification initiative, launched in Lafayette in the fall of 2014, encourages individuals, businesses and government to take pride in their community by cleaning up, sprucing up and standing up for a cleaner, greener and more welcoming appearance.

Rayne High School graduated a total of 142 seniors during the 2015 commencement exercises at 9:30 a.m. Saturday morning, May 23, in the Rayne High north gym. Highlight of the commencement ceremonies was the naming of Whitney Fontenot and Ivy Thibodeaux as Mr. and Miss RHS of 2015.
