Rayne - Funeral services will be held at Gossen Funeral Home Chapel, Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. for Morris Joseph Romero, 73 who died Sunday, March 11, 2012.

Interment will be in the Leger Cemetery, Rayne, LA.

Surviving are his wife Juanita Robinson Romero; two daughters, Renola Bouillion of Abbeville and Pamela Dupuis and husband Dalton of Rayne; five sons, Markel Romero and compaion Dawn Darcy of Rayne, Fredrick Romero and compaion Cynthia Griffith of Rayne, Joseph "Boze" Romero of Duson, Travis Romero of Rayne and Randal Bouillion and wife Carolyn of Carencro; 20 Grandchildren; 16 Great Grandchildren, three sisters, Edith Touchet of New Iberia, Dorothy Menard of Lafayette and Emily Menard and husband Ravers of Cade.

He was preceded in death by his parents Alcide Romero and Claudia Tool Romero; four brothers Avery Romero, Eddie Romero, Paul Romero and Lawerence Romero.

He was born Tuesday, August 16, 1938 in Iberia Praish, Son of the late Alcide Romero and the late Claudia Tool.

Friends will be received 12:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 13 until Service Wednesday, March 14, 2012. at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., Rayne, LA.
