The Crowley Police Department is currently investigating a bomb threat, which occurred on Saturday, May 23 at Wal-Mart in Crowley. The threat was made just before 12 p.m.
This bomb threat, which was a false threat, caused emergency personnel to close down the business and other businesses located on the property. Threats such as these also take away from our first responder’s duties in our community.
The person responsible for this threat will face criminal and may face civil penalties for the lost of business during this criminal act.
