The Acadia Baptist Ministerial Alliance will host its annual Black History Celebration at St. Joseph Baptist Church, 1219 W. Hutchinson Ave. in Crowley, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Theme: "Out of the Ashes Came Achievements," Phil. 4:13. Keynote speaker will be Rev. Darwin Lazard, pastor of Knight Baptist Church in Ville Platte and superintendent of the Evangeline Parish School Board.
