Crowley Police were called to Westwood Apartments just after midnight Monday to find a Crowley man dead of multiple gunshot wounds. No suspects had been named as of press time on Tuesday.

1 dead in Monday shooting

Police are investigating a deadly shooting that occurred here early Monday morning.
Police Chief Jimmy Broussard said police were notified just after midnight Monday of a shooting in Westwood Apartments.
Officers arrived to find one man dead of multiple gunshot wounds, according to Broussard.
The victim has been identified as Myron Scott of Crowley.
Broussard said investigators learned that a number of residents reported hearing shots being fired, but no one saw anything.
No suspects have been identified as of press time on Tuesday.
The victim’s body was taken to Calcasieu Parish Forensics Lab for an autopsy, according to the police chief.

Broussard said the investigation is continuing.
