Rev. Lois Spears Leduff of Baton Rouge was the inspirational speaker for Monday’s Martin Luther King Jr. Day program sponsored by the Crowley Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. The event was held at the Martin Luther King Center.

Members of Ms. Lady’s Dance Studio performed a liturgical dance selection choreographed by Ayesha Harmon.

Mona Woods of Israelite Baptist Church sang a solo in honor of the occasion.

Members of the St. Theresa Catholic Church Choir delivered a number of uplifting musical selections throughout the program.

Community remembers Dr. King

On Monday, the Crowley Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., hosted its annual program celebrating the life and legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
