UL is reporting the most cases of covid-19 on campus since the pandemic began. Between November 1st and the 7th, the university reported 38 cases mostly among students.

Crowley City Judge M’elise Trahan administers the oath of office to Lee Lawrence as the newest member of the Acadia Parish Tourist Commission. Lawrence was recently appointed by Mayor Tim Monceaux to represent the City of Crowley on the commission. He succeeds the late Charlotte Jeffers.
A proposal from the Acadia Parish Chamber of Commerce to assume management of the parish Tourist Commission is expected to be decided Thursday.
