Celebrating the 100th anniversary of their founding, members of the Attakapas Study Club have assembled a display at the Crowley Library. A program celebrating the club’s centennial will be held Wednesday, March 13, at First National Bank, the site of the first-ever meeting of the organization. In just four months it will be legal for persons 18 and older to carry a concealed weapon in Louisiana without a permit or training.
