The City of Crowley continues to rally around its small businesses as Small Business Saturday proved to be a successful venture once more for the Rice Capital as it continues to grow.

For as long as most people can remember, the noon whistle marked midday in the city of Rayne.
But, for the last few months, there has been no whistle.
Now it’s back.
No injuries were reported in a fire that destroyed a house 1401 S. Marie St. early Monday morning.
