An Estherwood Volunteer Firefighter douses a home Monday afternoon in the 400 block of Miller Avenue. The home of Harold and Lenora Cormier was gutted by fire Monday. Harold Cormier, who is disabled and used a lift to get into his raised residence, said he was in the bedroom watching television when he noticed a “red glare” coming from the kitchen area in the back of the home. By the time he got to it, the entire wall was ablaze. A passing neighbor helped Lenora then Harold from the home as firefighters were called. No injuries were reported
