Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish is asking the public’s help to identify the man who robbed People’s Credit Union in Rayne at gunpoint on July 21. Surveillance captured the suspect as he entered the lobby of the building (left) then brandished a handgun (top right) and demanded money from one of the tellers. The robber made his escape in a late-model, dark-colored Kia Sportage (lower right), headed east on U.S. Highway 90

RAYNE - Detectives with the Rayne Police Department continue to investigate an armed robbery which occurred at the People’s Credit Union, located at 904 E. Texas Avenue on July 21.
