The Notre Dame Lady Pios claimed their fourth straight state title Saturday with a 6-4 victory over the St. Charles Comets in the Division III state championship game at Broussard’s St. Julien Park. Wednesday, May 4, will be observed as American Legion Dorie Miller Post 506 Day in Crowley in recognition of the 75th anniversary of the chartering of the Post.
