Anatole Thibodeaux

Rayne - A Liturgy of the Word Service was celebrated for Anatole Thibodeaux, 81, at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 26, 2019, in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne.
Visitation was held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, May 25, from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m., with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6 p.m.. Visitation resumed on Sunday, May 26, at 8 a.m. until just prior to the service time.
Interment followed the chapel service at St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery No. 2 in Rayne.
Mr. Thibodeaux passed away on Thursday, May 23, at Lafayette General Southwest Hospital in Lafayette.
Mr. Thibodeaux is survived by his wife, Ella Mae Thibodeaux of Lafayette; son, Johnny Thibodeaux of Lafayette; grandchildren, Jeremy Thibodeaux and wife April of Mire and Bradley Thibodeaux of Ferriday; and great-grandchildren, Gabrielle and Gracie Thibodeaux of Mire.
He was preceded in death by a son, Emery Thibodeaux; parents, Sylvan Thibodeaux and Inez Rivette Thibodeaux; brother, Ashton Thibodeaux; sister, Amy Vincent; father-in-law, Octave Robert; and mother-in-law, Elia Robert.
Pallbearers were Johnny Thibodeaux, Jeremy Thibodeaux, Bradley Thibodeaux, Dylan Bertrand, Cruz Fetterman and Nicholas Thibodeaux.
