Bessie Mae Jarrell Benoit

A service to celebrate the life of Bessie Mae Jarrell Benoit will be held at Forest Park Church of Christ, located at 19326 Crowley-Eunice Highway in Crowley, on Sunday, Dec. 2, 2018, at 2 p.m. under the direction of Pastor Jason Corder.
Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.

Bessie Mae Jarrell Benoit, born April 30, 1953, passed into eternal life with Christ Jesus on Nov. 19, 2018, at Acadia General Hospital in Crowley.
Bessie was an RN and LSUE Alumni. She spent many years serving others under her profession. Per her wishes, her earthly body has been donated to further education in the medical field.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, David Sonnier, Kelly Benoit, Brannon Benoit, Drue Guillory, Kurt Benoit and Ricky Benoit; 27 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; brothers, Leo Jarrell Jr., Jimmy Jarrell, Robert Jarrell, Danny Jarrell and Paul Jarrell; sisters, Barbara Gilchrist, Pam McCann and Dianne Hebert; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Bessie was preceded in death by her grandparents; parents, Leo and Gloria Shadrick Jarrell; husband, Richard Lee Benoit; daughters, Angie Credeur and Nicky Sonnier; and brother, Perry Gene Jarrell.
