Marguerite Broussard Pousson

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30 pm Friday, Jan. 11, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Iota for Marguerite Broussard Pousson, 78, who passed away Jan. 9, 2019, in Egan.
Fr. Jude Thierry, pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church, will be officiating for the services.
The family is requesting visiting hours to be held Thursday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home in Iota. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
Interment will be in St. Joseph Mausoleum.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Dale Pousson of Egan; one brother, Daryl Broussard and wife Shirley of Crowley; three nieces, Jan B. Robichaux and husband Billy of Crowley, Karen Leonards and husband, Jerry of Roberts Cove, and Shelly Prejean and husband Scotty of Scott; two nephews, Dr. Mark Broussard and wife Dianna of Crowley, and Stephen Broussard and wife Kay of Iota; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews; one sister-in-law, Cherlyn Pousson of Lafayette; and one brother-in-law, Shelton Pousson of Egan.
Mrs. Pousson is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Aniect LeBlanc Broussard; one niece, Donna Hebert; and sister-in-law, Betty Pousson.
