Mary Margaret “Margo” Odom

Mary Margaret “Margot” Odom peacefully passed away on Jan. 3, 2021, in Lakeway, Texas, at the age of 72.
She is survived by her four sons, Mike, Pat, Kevin, and Tim; four daughters-in-law, Monica, Jennifer, Sarah, and Kate; four grandchildren, Gregory, Grant, Grace, and Jennifer; and her brother, Francis Graugnard.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Owen; her parents, Casimir and Lucille Graugnard; and her brothers, Mike and Jack.
Margot grew up in the Edgard and New Orleans communities of Louisiana eventually graduating from the Academy of the Sacred Heart and Loyola University. After living in California and Pennsylvania, she returned to Louisiana, where she raised her family and worked as a Catholic school teacher.
Eventually, she and Owen settled in Lakeway, Texas, where they enjoyed retired life surrounded by family and friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass which will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church located at 2349 Louisiana Hwy. 18, Edgard, on Wednesday, Nov. 24, at 10 a.m.
Adhering to her desire to be cremated, Margot’s ashes will be interred in her family’s crypt located in the cemetery of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Edgard.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Academy of the Sacred Heart in New Orleans.
