Roland Anthony Breaux

RAYNE - Funeral services will be held on Friday, Jan. 31, 2020, at a 1 p.m. service at Gossen Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne, for Roland Anthony Breaux, 85, who died Wednesday, Jan. 29, at The Carpenter House in Lafayette.

Interment will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery #2 in Rayne.

Deacon Denis LaCroix with St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne, will conduct the funeral services.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Grace Gautreaux Breaux; three daughters, Sheila Breaux Mouton and spouse Nathan, Pauline Breaux Gilbert and spouse Daniel and Ruth Breaux, all of Rayne; son, Dwayne Anthony Breaux and spouse Becky of Rayne; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and two brothers, Curley Breaux and spouse Sally of Savannah, Georgia and James Guidry and spouse Diane of Baton Rouge.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Breaux Sr. and Aline Guidry Breaux; three brothers, Leroy Breaux, Chester Breaux and Louis Breaux Jr.; and two sisters, Rita Breaux Picard and Mary Breaux.

Pallbearers will be Quentin Breaux, Michael Breaux, Eric Breaux, Andrew Mouton, Jacob Mouton, Elliot Gilbert and T.J. Poirrier.

A Rosary will be prayed Friday at 11 a.m. in Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne.

The family requests that visitation be observed in Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne, on Friday, Jan. 31, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
