Wilson J. Saltzman
Funeral Services were held on Monday, March 11, at 2 p.m. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley for Wilson J. Saltzman, 71, who passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2019, at 1:32 p.m. at Lafayette General hospital in Lafayette.
Br. Donovan Royer officiated for the services.
Burial was in the Acadia Resthaven Cemetery in Crowley.
The family requested visitation be held on Monday, March 11, at 9:30 a.m. until time of services in the Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley.
Survivors include two daughters, Jackie and husband Carmichael Williams of Welsh, and Tammy and husband Clint Fruge of Welsh; one sister, Velta and husband P.J. Miller of Crowley; three brothers, E.J. and wife “Shelby” Saltzman of Crowley, Thomas and wife Linda Mire of Crowley, and Raywood and wife Ella Hargrave of Kaplan; one sister-in-law, Charlene Saltzman of Waxahachie, Texas; four grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Saltzman was preceded in death by two sons, Joshua and Kevin Saltzman; his step father, Joseph L. Mire; his mother, Mildred Meaux Mire; his biological father, Watson J. Saltzman; and two brothers, Kernis Paul Saltzman and Winston Saltzman.
