Wolves place at Lone Survivor Wrestling Invitational
The Rayne High School Wrestling Team competed in the 2019 Lone Survivor Invitational on December 27-28 at Parkway High School in Bossier City.
Place winners for the Wolves were as follows:
106 lbs - Jakarion Fontenot, 5th place
113 lbs - Beau Perrodin, 4th place
113 lbs - Blaze Cormier, 5th place
120 lbs - Daylon Dugas, 3rd place
145 lbs - Ryder Hawley - Runner Up
170 lbs - William Billings - 6th place
182 lbs - Emile Richard - 6th place
195 lbs - Ron Roberts - 3rd place
Other Wolves completing were Reese Carrier, Dayden Simon, Shane Murray, Sean Dorsett, David George, Zachary Gregory, Jaqualain Carmouche, Riley Boss and Jamari Eaglin.
In the final team standings, the Wolves finished in sixth place of the 22 teams competing from Louisiana, Alabama and Oklahoma.
The Wolves are back in action on January 8 when they are scheduled to host the Carencro High School Bears in the first varsity dual meet of the year. Action begins at 6 p.m. in the Rayne High north gym.
The Wolves will then host the North Vermillion High School Patriots and the Barbe High Buccaneers on January 11 during a varsity tri-meet.
The event will also highlight Rayne High’s seniors during “Senior Night” -- come out and support the seniors on their final season as a Wolf.
