CHURCH POINT - One week after the Church Point Bears claimed the boys West Regional powerlifting title at Crowley High School, it was the Lady Bears’ turn to shine.
And they did!
CROWLEY – Omar Butler made just one shot Friday during Crowley High’s playoff game against St. Martinville, but it was the biggest basket of the season for the Gents.
NEW ROADS – After erupting for 63 runs in their first four games of the season, the Iota Lady Bulldogs ran into a buzz saw on Tuesday.
RAYNE – The Gueydan Honey Bears were on the verge of winning their softball opener Tuesday against the Midland Lady Rebels, who are in just their second season of varsity action.
