North Vermilion slips past Notre Dame in extra innings

HACKBERRY – The Notre Dame Lady Pios were once again dominant on the diamond as they cruised to a pair of mercy-rule victories Saturday in the Hackberry Tournament.
CROWLEY – The Crowley Gents entered the District 5-3A tournament, which began yesterday, on a high note after claiming a pair of victories over the weekend.
CROWLEY – The Crowley Ladies rallied from a one-run deficit with a four-run outburst in the sixth inning to defeat Lacassine Thursday, 6-3.
