Crowley High’s Hannah Abshire, left, and Nathan Roy, right, were selected as the 2021-22 Gardiner Memorial Award winners, an honor that is based on athletic as well as acadmic accomplishments. Head football coach and athletic director Kyron Benoit, center, presented them with their award at the CHS Athletic Banquet last week. Abshire was a four-year starter in volleyball and softball where she was named to the 6-3A All-District team in each sport. Roy was a three-year starter in football and lettered in track for four years, earning All-District honors in both sports. Abshire graduates with a 4.0 grade point average and Roy has a 3.7 GPA.
