Top 4-H sugar recipes from Acadia Parish

At the end of March, 4-H’ers from 11 parishes came to Crowley to compete in the annual Regional Commodity Cookery Contest.

While their dishes were being judged, students had the opportunity to use a “blender bike” to make healthy fruit and vegetable smoothies using physical activity.

Recently, approximately 95 4-H’ers from 11 different parishes, with parents in tow, descended on Acadia Parish for the 2017 Southwest Area Commodity Cookery Contest.
