Andrus tendered his resignation during the meeting, however, jurors, by unanimous voice vote, refused to accept his resignation and instructed Savoy to meet with the attorney to “establish parameters.”

Parish attorney resigns

In a move that surprised members of the Acadia Parish Police Jury here Tuesday night, parish attorney Brad Andrus resigned the position he has held for the last six-and-a-half years.
