‘Perfect storm’ kept ambulance from scene
Simply put, it was the perfect storm.
Simply put, it was the perfect storm.
The Acadia Parish Police Jury Tuesday night adopted a $26.2 million operating budget for 2019 that includes pay raises for employees and a second medic for the parish jail.
If Acadia Parish Police Jurors didn’t have enough trouble balancing their budget, now they’re facing a nearly $30,000 repair bill on a bulldozer at the landfill.
The courthouse will keep its front-door security and the jail will get a second medic.
It’s all in the name. Unfortunately, when the names are the same, it’s all confusing.
