In March of 1945, the German army was steadily being pushed back by Allied troops from the west.
In the June 22, 1901, issue of the Crowley Signal, it was reported that the lower floor of Dave Lyons’ new building, the Grand Opera House, was entirely finished and ready for occupancy.
When we think of the music recording industry today, places like Nashville, Los Angeles or Detroit come to mind.
On the evening of May 13, 1899, a duel occurred on the front gallery of a Crowley boarding house which resulted in the death of both duelists.
