Michael Doughty is a self-confessed “foodie.” He loves to cook and grill and says his greatest extravagance is food. He and wife Elea are seasoned entertainers who host frequent cook-outs and get-togethers.

Kennedy’s Cash Store, later Kennedy Johnston, Inc, was located in the 100 block of North Parkerson Avenue.

As early as 1908, G.A. Kennedy (1875-1929) and his brother Wilbur A. Kennedy (1872-1938) had a general merchandise store in Rayne.
