‘Google Doodle’ Art Hour set
Does your child have a wild imagination?
Every year, Google challenges young artists to come up with a design for its famous homepage centered around a central theme.
If your young artist is interested in submitting a design to Google’s contest, he or she is invited to create one with the staff of the Acadia Parish Library in Crowley on Friday, Jan. 24, at 4 p.m.
The library will provide all the supplies and entry forms, so participants need only bring in their unique ideas.
The contest is open to youths in grades Kindergarten through 12. Children participating in the event will need a parent or guardian present in order to sign off on their entry form, which the library will then submit.
This year's “Doodle for Google” theme is “I show kindness by . . . .”
The Acadia Parish library in Crowley is located at 1125 N. Parkerson Ave.
Call the library at 788-1880 for more information.
