
Festive happenings set for Christmas in Crowley
With all the festively decorated buildings lining Crowley’s Historic Downtown Main Street this year, Christmas in Crowley will surely boost holiday spirits.
The annual event was initially set for last week, but, due to inclement weather, was rescheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 8, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The event will offer something for everyone, with the following on tap:
• Decorated antique tractor show and tractor rides through Historic Downtown;
• “Christmas Carols on the Balcony” provided by First United Methodist Church choir;
• Photos with Santa and the Polar Express in the Courtyard, sponsored by First National Bank;
• Meet Santa and the Grinch at Vanilla Bean;
• Christmas goodies and BOGO sale at SarahBelle’s Boutique;
• 15% off total purchase at Wirtz Suds;
• Christmas crafts at the Crowley Art Gallery;
• Hamburger sale and raffle ticket sale at American Legion Post 15;
• Santa mailbox at Cramer Equipment and Supply;
• Make-your-own snow globe at Poise and Personality;
• Free hotdogs at the Historic Rice Theater, sponsored by Super1Foods;
• Christmas bake sale sponsored by St. Michael Catholic Church Life Teen;
• Free cookies, hot chocolate and cider from First United Methodist Church;
• Christmas jam and jelly sale by First United Methodist Church Youth Group;
• Snow globe and Christmas tree photo op on the Court Circle;
• Antique Christmas cars from Shetler-Corley; and
• Mrs. Claus and Crowley royalty at city hall.
Due to COVID-19, space in some shops may be limited and monitored. Social distancing and face masks are strongly encouraged.
