Miller poetry reading set for Nov. 16 at library
On Saturday, Nov. 16, the Acadia Parish Library in Crowley will host a book-signing with author Terry Jude Miller.
The event will begin at 10 a.m.
Miller, an Iota native, currently resides in Fort Bend County, Texas.
He will be reading from his most recently published poetry collection, “The Drawn Cat’s Dream,” and will sign books as well.
Miller is the recipient of many Poetry Society of Texas poetry awards, including the 2018 Catherine Case Lubbe Manuscript Prize, the Maxwell Prize and the Inez Grimes Award, as well as the Georgia Poetry Society 2018 Langston Hughes Award
His other books of poetry include “The Day I Killed Superman,” “What If I Find Only Moonlight?” and “The Butterfly Canonical.”
A member of the Academy of American Poets, the Poetry Society of Texas, the Gulf Coast Poets Society and Poets Northwest (Houston), he is the creator of the Texas Poets Podcast.
