Sheriff K.P. Gibson met with residents of the Fifth Ward Saturday morning, speaking to a near-capacity crowd at C’est Bon Restaurant in Mermentau. Gibson said he likes to use these “Coffee With the Sheriff” sessions not only to talk about what’s going on at the sheriff’s office, but to find out about what’s going on in the parish.
