Recognized were Kelly Miseles (left) from Post 1 in Lake Charles, David Simon (second from right) from Post 77 in Rayne, and Timothy Smith (not pictured) from Post 144 in Oberlin. Simon was honored as the 7th District Award winner for 2023 and is now in contention for the state-level award to be presented at the American Legion state convention in June.
