Rayne Lions Club Frog Derby open to students from across Acadia Parish

The annual Frog Derby competition, sponsored every year since the 1940s by the Rayne Lions Club, is seeking contestants for this year’s event.

Bethel Christian Methodist Episcopal Church is celebrating 119 years of serving the community and Mayor Chad Monceaux, seated, has designated Sunday, Feb. 26, as “Bethel Christian Methodist Episcopal Church 119th Anniversary Celebration Day” in Crowley as an expression of the city’s esteem and best wishes to Pastor Charles Rochester and the church family.
