DUSON - One person was killed in a four-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon at the Acadia - Lafayette parish line.
The crash closed down Interstate 10 in both directions.

Just as the Carnival d’Acadie Parade started to roll Tuesday, the sun peaked out from behind the clouds. What appeared to be a record crowd was in attendance for the annual Mardi Gras event, sponsored by the City of Crowley with assistance from the Krewe of Town Revelers.
