Once again, the Acadia Parish Police Jury’s Ambulance Committee will take a shot at finalizing a revised ordinance regulating the two services permitted to operate in the parish
Acadia’s ambulance ordinance will undergo another tweak before it is presented to the full police jury for consideration.
Assessments are up and so is the number of people paying ad valorem taxes, Acadia Parish Tax Assessor James “Jimbo” Petitjean told police jurors during the regular September meeting.
Ten acres of the Acadia Parish Sanitary Landfill will be closed and capped.
