A capital campaign is underway to raise funding to build a “new” Ms. Helen’s Soup Kitchen. Plans for the razing and reconstruction of Ms. Helen’s Soup Kitchen were explained to members of the Crowley Kiwanis Club Thursday.

The annual Kiwanis Club Christmas Parade will roll through the streets of Crowley Tuesday, Dec. 4, beginning at 6 p.m. Among the Kiwanians heading up plans for the event are, from left, Harold Gonzales, Daniel Fontenot, Steven Premeaux and K.P. Gibson.
