Church Point’s Madisyn Fruge fires a pitch to the plate Monday during the Lady Bears’ 6-4 Class 3A regional playoff victory over No. 4 Crowley. Fruge struck out seven and also had two hits, including a home run, and three RBI in the victory.

Lady Bears stun CHS Ladies in regional round

Madisyn Fruge may only be a freshman, but she has played like a seasoned veteran all season long for the Church Point Lady Bears.
