The Rayne High Lady Wolves Basketball Team completed the 2016-2017 season with another trip to the state playoffs before falling in the second round.

The Wolves took a lead late in the ballgame and held on for a 7-2 districy win over Leesville High.
The win evened Rayne’s district slate at 2-all mid-way through the 2017 season.

IOTA – In the battle of the Dogs, it was Iota that reigned supreme Tuesday in the Bulldogs’ District 4-3A contest with rival Jennings.

CROWLEY – Collin Kirsch and Nick Hanks combined for seven hits and seven RBI Tuesday to help lead the Notre Dame Pios to an impressive 10-4 victory over North Vermilion at Miller Stadium.
