Janet passed away on Friday, September 22, 2017 at her Rayne residence.
A native and lifelong resident of Rayne, Janet was a faithful and faith filled member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She demonstrated her faith by praying daily rosaries, and by assisting with the Good Samaritans.
Janet earned a Bachelor of Arts degree at University of Southwest Louisiana (now University of Louisiana at Lafayette), and served as a school teacher in Acacia Parish schools for several years. She also worked for many years selling cars. She loved the outdoors, enjoyed camping, and could often be found working in her flower gardens. She had a green thumb, and could grow beautiful plants that others had given up on. Janet was also a fan of the New Orleans Saints and LSU Tiger football.
Janet was most passionate about her family and friends. She was a loyal friend to many, and her greatest joy was being with and caring for her family. Janet will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
